March 31st Meeting

Trust me, I know it is very early in the week to be emailing about the next meeting. I am sending the email tonight because I will be gone Thursday, Friday, and Saturday due to a school trip and I will have limited access to email. Also, I figured it is better early than late. I will be sending out another reminder on Sunday which might hold more information.

Opening Flags : Spartans (Jared will help)

5 Things : Ben M. and Andrew E. from the Flaming Arrows Patrol

Skill : The Griffin Patrol and Coffee Cups will be joining together to demonstrate how the new tents are set up.

Patrol Meetings : We will be practicing putting up and taking down the new and old tents for your patrol. Just a reminder to the new scouts that even though we will not have formal advancement time, if anybody has a requirement that needs to be signed off, I or any of the other older scouts can sign it off at pretty much any point during the meeting.

Game : Leg Wrestling

Again I am always available to answer questions but this week during the times I am gone, I would ask that you direct questions towards Tom or any of the Assistant Scout Masters.

One last note is that at the PLC we are always trying to think of ways to make the meetings more interesting so if any Scouts or Parents have any guest speakers they know might be able to come in, please email me, Tom, your patrol leader, or really anyone that goes to PLC's.

Troop 149 MOM's Tea on March 31st at 7pm

On Monday, March 31 at 7:00 PM the MOMs will gather in the Parlor (of the church) while the boys meet downstairs.  This is a great opportunity to meet the other moms and find out even more about our awesome troop.  

I am sure by now, you have many questions about how Boy Scouts work and how you can best be a supportive parent to your scout.  Not to worry, we will have expert moms on hand to demystify topics such as Blue Cards, Advancement, Tour Permits, Boards of Review and more!  Come and have a treat and a cool refreshment.  We will finish when the Troop meeting ends at 8:30.
