Andrew W's Eagle Project Sunday April 27

Troop 149, 

Hello. I am Andrew W, a Life Scout, and I am starting my Eagle Scout Service Project. My plan is to construct a raised planter box, three birdhouses, and plant a few bushes and flowers at the L'Arche association home in South Arlington by TJ Community Center. The L'Arche association provides housing and assistance to developmentally disabled adults who cannot live on their own. I have met a couple of times with the house members and they are very excited to have the project done. They enjoy growing their own vegetables and spending time outside so hopefully the planter box, flowers and birdhouses will help improve their home. 

I plan to hold a build date at my house on Sunday, April 27 from 11 to around 2 or 3 depending on how things go. I am not entirely sure how long the building will take, so I may hold another day the following weekend to complete the construction process. After everything is built I will hold one final session at the L'Arche home to install the planter box, plants, and birdhouses. The date for this and a possible second build day are not final yet so I will send out another email when I have a better idea of timing, likely after the first build day. Having said that, I need your help! If you are available on Sunday the 27th from 11-3 or even just an hour in-between I need as many helpers as possible so please don't hesitate to respond! Just a quick response to this email saying I will be there! or Sorry, I can't come, would be greatly appreciated so I have and idea of who will be coming. I will be providing some lunch, likely pizza, so there is some extra motivation.
