Projectoree April 24 – 26, 2015

Signup Deadline:  Thursday, April 9th

Where:  Camp Wilson (Pohick Bay), a few miles from the Lorton Exit off I-95.
What is the Projectoree?  

Projectoree is like a mini-Olympic competition among numerous troops from the Chain Bridge District.  Scouts from the Chain Bridge District will compete for bragging rights in the following games.  Each game is run by senior scouts from their respective Troops:

  • Bad Plumbing (869)
  • Caber Toss (1916)
  • Cave Rescue (149)
  • Egg Toss (1130)
  • Fire-building (624/2535)
  • Lava Rescue Relay (638)
  • Nuclear Reactor (167)
  • Obstacle Course (111)
  • Pipeline (104)
  • Pole Climb (648)
  • Scoutmaster Chariot Race (641)
  • Spider Web Escape (128) – This event was won by the Flaming-Spartans last year!
  • Walk the Plank (647)

Saturday Night Activities:

  1. Closing Campfire: Will begin at 8:15 pm
    1. American Flag Retirement Ceremony
    2. Troop 149 will be performing a skit or song
    3. Awards Ceremony
    4. Order of the Arrow Call-out Ceremony – for candidates present

This event is very popular among the scouts and you should not miss it!  You will have opportunities to meet fellow scouts from the surrounding areas and senior scouts will be able to further their leadership skills be leading the responsibilities for Troop 149.

Fees: $15 Camping, $10 for Projectoree T-Shirt [$11 If your size is XXL]


This is a very fun weekend!!!!
Timing: We'll leave from the Church promptly at 5pm on Friday and return on Sunday around 10-11am.
Meals:  We'll have Friday dinner on-the-road (McDonalds), before we head into Camp.
