Troop 149: My name is Ned C. and I will be holding my Eagle Scout project soon.
My project will be adding an enclosure to Potomac Overlook’s bird shelter to help the rangers take care of the birds and not have them fly out.
I will be holding two project days. On September 29 we will prepare all the materials we will need at my house. We will then move to the nature center and dig post holes at the site for the enclosure and prepare them for building. The next day, September 30, we will finish constructing the enclosure.
This is a great way to get service hours and also to give back to a part of our community. Food will be provided.
