Troop 149,
Its time for Scouting For Food (SFF) 2015! This is a great chance to be part of an effective, social service to your community. It’s fun, and doesn’t take too much time, especially when we have big participation.
Our bag distribution is this Saturday, November 7. We will meet at the Church parking lot 9AM, where neighborhood assignments will be given to groups, who will distribute SFF bags with flyers. It usually only takes about 30 minutes for teams to complete their jobs.
The following Saturday, November 14, we will collect the donations left by our neighbors, and take them to drop off site.
It is truly remarkable how much food gets donated and moved. The more the merrier, and many Scouts means increased efficiency, and measurable, positive social impact!
