Via Ferrata Trip -- Memorial Day Weekend -- SIGN UP ASAP

Troop 149, we're going back to Via Ferrata, but you have to ACT FAST.

What is Via Ferrata? It literally means "iron road" in Italian. Basically, it's rock climbing with steps placed into the rock, while cabled in for safety. We went two years ago and the pictures are pretty incredible... check them out here. Needless to say, acrophobics should not sign up! Here's more info on Via Ferrata from the website.

We'll be heading down again to Nelson Rocks near Circleville WV. We will head down Saturday the 28th, climb, then stay overnight and head home on the 29th.

Three important things to know:
  1. Fees for climbing and a night of camping are $130
  2. You MUST be 13 years old or older as of May 28th.
  3. We have reservations for 14 people, 2-3 of which should be adults, and two of those are Mr. Vargas and Mr. Hunt. That only leaves 11-12 slots for Scouts, and one for an additional adult driver. Depending on response this may book up fast.
We need a final count by Friday, May 13th (a week from this Friday). So if you are interested, are old enough, and can commit by next Friday, sign up below!
