MCM Volunteer Reminder

Just a quick reminder to sign up to support this year's Marine Corps Marathon on Sunday, Oct. 30th. The deadline for sign-up is Aug. 31, and so far, we only have 14 of the 45 volunteers we need.

Please take a few minutes to sign up.  This is a great opportunity, especially for new Scouts, to provide a valuable service and have a really fun experience with Troop 149. As always, parents and siblings are welcome to participate.

Go to the link below and enter the reservation code to start the process:

Step 1: Please fill out all the required Participant Information fields and press “continue”.  Do not sign in or register for an optional account as indicated in the red box to the right.

Step 2: Scroll through volunteer opportunity information to the bottom of the page and press “continue”.

Step 3:   Read and initial the Publicity Release and Disclosure Statement. Type your name below the “Volunteer Agreement”. Important Note: If you are under the age of 18 your parent must initial the waivers and type their name under the “Volunteer Agreement”. 

A page will appear that presents the information you provided and confirms that you have successfully volunteered.  MCM will also send you a confirmation email.
