Time to rake leaves!
It's time for Troop 149’s annual leaf raking fundraiser for Rise Against Hunger (formerly called Stop Hunger Now). We’ll be out raking leaves Saturday, Nov. 10, to raise money for meals that we’ll help package in February. We’ll rake again Sunday, Dec. 2).
We need 100% participation to make this work. To accommodate different schedules, we will rake on Saturday starting right after Scouting for Food, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on a Sunday next month.
Don't wait—sign up today!
Scouts should sign up for at least two hours—that is, 2 one-hour shifts.
We need plenty of adults too. Note whether you can bring a rake, tarp, leaf blower, broom, etc. Provide your email address so that I can send you the addresses later in the week.
